Hey everyone!
Hope this finds you well – we’re almost ready to start shipping! The final bonus items are arriving from their respective manufacturers, and everything should be ready for Quartermaster Logistics to start fulfilling in April. We’re still waiting on a few miscellaneous items to arrive, but we expect them all in by the end of the month. The holographic stickers, keychains, holographic cards, and magnets have all arrived and we should have photos of them all soon. Here is a photo of an advance copy of the holographic stickers –
We’ll share more pics once the items arrive.
In the meantime, our friends at Magnetic Press have a new campaign for WORLDS BETWEEN WORLDS: THE GRAPHIC NOVELS OF JONATHAN NKONDO live on Kickstarter right now!
It features an excellent set of books by an amazing animation director and artist who has worked on projects such as SCAVENGERS REIGN, LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS, LEAGUES OF LEGENDS, and most recently the new animated short film/music video “The Mountain, the Moon Cave, and the Sad God” by Gorillaz.
Whether you’re a fan of Gorillaz or not, you can’t deny the charm of hand-made 2D animation, and Jonathan’s creation of the “Moon Cave” sequence in the middle is a standout. As a sci-fi fan, I think you’ll really appreciate these books.
Thanks, everyone. More soon!

Hey, everyone!
We’ve got a triple drop of digital goodies ready for you today, fresh from the SHIN ZERO vaults and available to all backers. Whether you’re here for the art, the worldbuilding, or the pure Singelin energy, this update is going to make your week.
Here’s a description of what you’ll now find in your Backerkit:
1) SHIN ZERO Digital Wallpaper Pack
Sixteen images meticulously formatted for your device of choice.
1080×1920 for mobile
1920×1080 for desktop
They’re all provided as RPB JPG files, so you should have no trouble applying them to your device once you’ve extracted them from the .zip file. Swap them out as often as you like and carry SHIN ZERO with you everywhere.
2) 30 Digital Messenger Stickers
You’ll also find a full set of 30 expressive .png stickers, delivered as a tidy ZIP file. Use them in your chats, your posts, your group threads… heck, anywhere you need a little extra SHIN ZERO attitude. They’re crisp, transparent, and ready to drop into your daily conversations.
To use the .zip file of .png images as stickers, you first need to extract the individual files. Facebook Messenger doesn’t support importing .zip files directly, so you must convert the individual images into a format the app recognizes.
To get started --
1. Extract the ZIP File
On iPhone: Open the Files app, find your .zip, and tap it. It will automatically create a folder with your .png files.
On Android: Open Files by Google (or your file manager), tap the .zip file, and select Extract.
On PC or Mac: Select the .zip file and Extract All... You probably know how to do this already…
Once unzipped, follow these platform-specific steps to use the images as stickers:
2. Apply as Stickers
Once unzipped, follow these platform-specific steps to use the images as stickers:
On iPhone (iOS):
The most efficient way to handle a batch of .png files is to add them to your system Sticker Drawer:
In the Files app, open the extracted folder.
Long-press a .png and select Share > Save Image to move it to your Photos app.
Open the Photos app, long-press the subject of an image, and tap Add Sticker. Sorry for these extra, manual steps, but it’s the only way…
In Messenger, tap the Stickers icon > Sticker Drawer icon (the peeling square) to find your newly added stickers.
On Android:
Android users can use Gboard to turn a folder of images into a sticker-like experience:
Open a Messenger chat and tap the text field to open Gboard.
Tap the Stickers icon, then the Gallery/Add icon.
Navigate to the extracted folder and select your .png.
Alternative: Use an app like Sticker.ly by selecting the "Plus" button, "Import from Gallery," and select all your unzipped images at once to create a permanent pack that exports to Messenger.
On PC (Windows/Mac):
On a PC, you cannot "install" a custom sticker pack into the Messenger library, but you can use your unzipped folder as a Sticker Palette:
Open your extracted folder next to your Messenger window.
Simply drag any .png from the folder into the Messenger chat.
Keyboard Shortcut: Since you are on a PC, you can quickly scroll through your folder, press Ctrl + C (copy) on a file, and Ctrl + V (paste) in Messenger to send it. Because they are .png files, they will appear without a background.
3) The SHIN ZERO Digital Sketchbook
Guillaume Singelin’s sketchbook from the previsualization of the project is now available! Inside you’ll find:
Early character explorations
Environmental studies
Process sketches and visual experiments
It’s a raw, intimate look at how SHIN ZERO took shape, and a perfect companion to the main graphic novel.
Note: This is only included with tiers that include the physical, printed sketchbook, or if you added a sketchbook or digital sketchbook to your pledge. If you'd still like to grab one, message us here on Kickstarter, and we'll see how we can best help you.
All three digital rewards are now available as direct downloads in your BackerKit Digital Downloads section. You can find those by logging into your Backerkit page at https://shin-zero.backerkit.com/. You should see a big blue button in the center of the screen that says “Get Your Digital Downloads.” If you don’t see them yet, make sure you’ve completed your surveys! (There are still about 112 of you who haven’t…)
If you need any assistance, please email [email protected], and they’ll help you out.
Thank you again for helping bring SHIN ZERO to life. More updates are on the way as items roll in from the various factories toward fulfillment very soon!
Stay sharp out there.

Hi everyone!
Happy Friday! Just a quick update to let you all know that digital rewards have been distributed.
You may have already received an email notification from Backerkit, but if not, check your inboxes (or spam folders) this weekend. You can also check your Backerkit page directly by logging into https://shin-zero.backerkit.com/
Once logged in, you should see a big blue button in the middle of the page that says "Get Your Digital Downloads" -- click on that to see your personal links for each item ordered. Granted, you will only see that button if you have finished your Backerkit survey, but if you haven't, that link will also walk you through the process.
The books are hosted by Gumroad -- you will have to follow the (simple) instructions found in each download description to use your unique codes to download your files from Gumroad for free. 😊
If you have any trouble or questions about the process, feel free to email us at [email protected] -- we're happy to help!
The digital sketchbooks, wallpaper packs, and emoji sticker packs aren't ready quite yet, so we'll post those in another update very soon. The physical books and bonus items are still on their way from their respective manufacturers, and they're all expected to reach our warehouse very soon. Shipping should be able to start shortly once everything has arrived.
We'll keep you posted as things roll in!
Thanks, everyone!
Bonus items are rolling in...!

Hi, everyone!
We just returned from a couple of weeks in Europe, where we spent some very creative time with the team at Label 619. We've got some exciting stuff in store for 2026 (including more SHIN ZERO), so stay tuned!
While we were there, Guillaume Singelin signed all of the bookplates for the slipcase sets --
Mathieu is off on a long sabbatical (following the release of his long-in-production masterpiece SILENT JENNY), so we missed seeing him, but we have lots of plans with him in the future (including SILENT JENNY, which you'll hear much more about very soon...)
We are also expecting a bunch of the bonus stretch goal items very soon, including the coins, slipcase lapel pins, and patches. Here are a few photos:
We'll share more pix as soon as things start showing up at the warehouse.
Thanks, everyone!

Hi everyone!
We're back from holiday travel -- we hope you had a fun and relaxing holiday yourself!
Just a brief update to let you know that charges have been initiated on Backerkit this afternoon. We apologize for the delay -- we thought they would be initiated automatically after the orders were locked back on the 20th, but they were not. They have been initiated as of today, which triggers a 48-hour notification from Backerkit, at which point the charges WILL be automatically made. Sorry for the confusion!
If you have any questions or concerns, you can message us here on Kickstarter or email [email protected].
In the meantime, there are only a few days left on our FREAKS SQUEELE campaign! We've already unlocked eight stretch goals, with a (very cool) ninth goal coming up quickly... You won't want to miss out on this one!
Look at what's already unlocked and added to physical pledges for FREE!
Next up: Challenge Coin!
This campaign ends Friday evening, so get on board while there's still time!
